Good Questions
Clear answers before
your consultation.
Everything patients ask us most — injectables, peels, lasers, weight loss and how it all works. Still curious? Send us a message and we'll respond within 24 hours.
What happens at my first consultation?
We start with a conversation, not a sales pitch. Your nurse practitioner reviews your goals, medical history and anatomy, walks you through realistic options — including doing less rather than more — and builds a personalized plan with transparent pricing. Consultations are complimentary and pressure-free.
How much do wrinkle relaxers (Botox) cost?
Neuromodulators are $12–$15 per unit, depending on the product. The number of units varies by treatment area and your muscle activity — your injector will give you an exact quote before any treatment begins.
Which neurotoxin and filler brands do you offer?
Neuromodulators: Botox®, Letybo®, Xeomin®, Dysport® and Daxxify®. HA dermal fillers: Juvéderm®, Restylane®, the RHA Collection® and Obagi Saypha MagIQ®, plus SkinVive® injectable moisturizer. Biostimulators: Sculptra®, Radiesse® and Plasma Gel 3-D. We are an Allē provider.
What's the difference between neurotoxins, fillers and biostimulators?
Neurotoxins temporarily relax targeted muscles to soften dynamic wrinkles like frown lines and crow's feet. Dermal fillers add or restore volume and enhance contours — lips, cheeks, chin and jawline. Biostimulators like Sculptra and Radiesse stimulate your own collagen production for gradual, longer-lasting improvement in volume, texture and skin quality.
Are injectable treatments safe?
When performed by trained, experienced medical professionals using high-quality, FDA-approved products in a clinical setting, injectable treatments have a strong safety profile. Every treatment at The SKIIN Groupe is administered by a board-certified nurse practitioner with over a decade of plastic-surgery experience — and every plan begins with a medical assessment to confirm a treatment is right for you.
Can a filler result be reversed?
Yes. Hyaluronic-acid fillers can be dissolved quickly and effectively with Hylenex®, an FDA-approved enzyme injection — whether you want to adjust a result from another clinic or simply change your mind.
Is there downtime after a chemical peel or laser treatment?
It depends on the depth. Superficial options like the SkinCeuticals MicroPeel and Toskani Duo-Somal acids have zero downtime. Medium-depth peels like the VI Peel involve several days of visible peeling. Fractional Er:YAG laser typically needs a few days of social downtime, while CPL light treatments have essentially none. We'll match the protocol to your skin and your calendar.
How does medical weight loss with GLP-1 work?
GLP-1 medications reduce appetite and help you feel fuller longer, supporting steady, sustainable weight loss under medical supervision. Our program uses only branded, FDA-approved Zepbound® (Tirzepatide), starting at $299 per month. It begins with a $300 initial consultation that includes a medical evaluation, and baseline lab work is required before treatment.
Do you sell skincare products?
Yes — we carry medical-grade lines from Obagi Medical, SkinCeuticals, ZO Skin Health and Hydrinity, plus luxury skincare by Agent Nateur. Products are available in clinic, and we'll build a home regimen matched to your skin and any in-clinic treatments.
